Wirral Folk On The Coast Festival is brought to you by the Festival Committe and John & Angie Owen, organisers of the Hungry Horse Folk Club, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. The club can be found at the following address
Starting at 8.15pm, this very successful folk club takes place every Thursday night in the Whitby Sports & Social Club, Chester Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 6QF. Previously held at The Rake, Little Stanney, Ellesmere Port, the club moved to the above venue in July 2011. You can enjoy amazing concert nights each month, and singers and musicians nights on the remaining three Thursdays. Why not give the club a try? If you are new to folk music, (or even if you aren't, you will be amazing at the variety of music that the club presents. There is also a superb restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the club starts.
